Madarasz Ink - Small Batch Historic Ink

A recipe which was handwritten on a note by the late Louis Madarasz. This is a combination of two antique ink recipes and combined in proportion to his specifications  This is an iron gall based ink, and pretty thin in viscosity. It goes on dark gray and then quickly turns black and darkens more over time. This ink produces some dark black shades and super fine hairlines.

• 1 fl. oz. Bottle (29 ml)
• Black, Iron Gall Based Ink
• pH Level is 1.9
• Antique Amber, Glass Jar
• Reusable, Screw Top Lid
• Double Sealed Lid for Safe Transport
• Approximate Dimensions: 1.5" D x 2" H
• For Dip Pen Use Only, Not Safe For Fountain Pens
• As with all Iron Gall Inks mold can develop, simply remove the mold off of the surface and discard. The underlying ink is completely usable.
• As evaporation occurs, add plain water as needed to thin.
